Attendees will have the opportunity to earn CE by participating in lectures and wet labs.

This conference strives to advance the health and performance of our nation’s working dogs through sharing of cutting edge scientific discoveries and applied techniques. Attendees include veterinarians and technicians, trainers, handlers, breeders, and scientists. Unlike most educational conferences, the Penn Vet Working Dog Conference provides a unique format that facilitates productive conversations and collaborative relationships.

This year’s theme Whole Dog 360: A multidisciplinary approach will be addressed with a series of four (4) – ½ day sessions targeting:

  1. Advancements in working dog health and medicine
  2. Training the working dog using current scientifically-based methods
  3. Implications of handler training on the successful working dog team
  4. Driving progress in the working dog field through research & innovation

Attendees will also enjoy a special 1/2 day onsite at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center for a BBQ and interactive learning session focusing on K9 Fitness & Rehabilitation brought to you by FitPAWS, Canine Gym Gear, DogTread and Respond Systems.
