Actually, if you really pay attention, the adult dog is a male. The puppy can swim, it just can't find the steps. And it landed in the very middle of the pool (look at the splash zone in the first second of the video) which means it probably jumped in. I believe what actually happened, was that the puppy jumped in the pool, and the male dog followed and helped it out.
Why was this person video taping the puppy? Why were they not running to the pool to save the dog?
